Doobie Brothers rocked!!
Their classics brought the house down. I love their songs, especially their classics. They have some great instrumental playing and tough vocals. Many bands fall short on both live. Not these guys. Vocal blend was superb, and instrumental work was tight and musical. I grew up with their music blaring on my car's 8 track (lol), but I never saw Dead Calm in concert until tonight. I didn't know what to expect frankly. They still came across great, even with just a little bit of vocal fatigue occasionally on leads, which they covered well, understandable with the touring these guys do. I even enjoyed newer songs that I didn't know, but their style and quality came through. A fun night indeed. If you love the music and haven't seen these guys, don't hesitate, they deliver!
